Our client’s initial brief was to link the kitchen to the garden and refurbish the house. Our first visit to the substantial detached house, found an impractical external staircase to the rear of the building, the only link from the kitchen to the garden.

 Working with award winning architect, Simon Gill (simongillarchitects.co.uk), and the client, a light, bright extension was created, sympathetically adding a modern twist to this elegant Victorian property.

 The kitchen was linked to the garden via a stylish internal staircase, leading into a double height garden room, which is full of light and allows for the views of the attractive garden. 

 The kitchen was expertly designed by Martin Moore (martinmoore.com).

 The rest of the house had a full refurbishment, paying close attention to the wealth of period details and the result is a truly exceptional family home.
